Big Boy Potty

Cole was tired and groggy when he woke up from his nap on Sunday, but also had not done any business during nap time. So we decided to see if he would try the big boy potty again. Not only did he try sitting on it we had our first successful launch sequence. Maybe now he'll start to get the hang of it.

Scott and Cole had a little batting practice last night, and it was really fun to watch them play and practice together. We think that Cole did pretty well, given that he is only 2, lol.

So, here are a couple "update" pics on Cole's nose and his strawberry plant. His nose is looking A LOT better now, and he did a super job getting his stitches out on Saturday. The doctor thinks that it is healing nicely, and the scar should fade some as time goes on.
His strawberry plant is growing well, he and daddy did a great job when they planted it. It sits in the kitchen so that it gets plenty of sun, and we are hoping that it grows big enough to start selling strawberries if we ever get short of money, lol.

I think he feels better...

So....Cole is definitely feeling better and we got a little video of him dancing last night to prove it.

Update!

Just a little update on Cole's poor little nose. We were able to give him a bath last night and clean up his nose some and it looks TONS better. It is amazing how fast lacerations to the face heal, and now we are just crossing our fingers that there isn't too much of a scar.
Thanks for all the calls and emails, it's nice to know how much our little man is loved.

ER, here we come!

So....today was our first trip to the ER where Cole got his first 5 stitches. He was playing downstairs around Scott's weight bench and fell face first into something. He split his nose pretty good, but he did awesome! The doctor even said that he was impressed with how tough of a little kid he was, and how great he did. Now we just have to do the healing part.
